Real lives, real stories

Your support helps football fans enjoy their favourite game. The Cheshire House Musketeers, based at our Inverness Cheshire House service, worked with Inverness Caledonian Thistle F.C. to make sure disabled supporters had a good view of their matches.

The club relocated its seating so supporters using wheelchairs no longer have their view hidden by a safety barrier. Now lifelong fans like Musketeer Alan (pictured) can cheer on their team every weekend. With the Musketeers’ help, the club is now planning a raised stand with a shelter so disabled supporters can see all the goals – whatever the weather.

Leonard Cheshire Disability exists to support disabled people to live life to the full. Please support our work by giving a gift today.
